ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — This week's Sunday profile on Rochester in Focus highlights a group working to bring about change.

Robert Benz and Kenneth Morris Jr. created Frederick Douglass Family Initiatives in 2007.

Benz is the group’s executive VP and Morris is a direct descendant of Douglass and Booker T. Washington.

For years, they've focused on stopping human trafficking. It's a mission that started for both men after reading the same story in National Geographic called  21st Century Slaves.

The group is also fighting for racial equity and social issues. They are bringing a best-selling author and leading anti-racist advocate to town for an event next month.
