ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The Rochester man who made a shocking admission in court earlier this year in connection with the death of a woman has been indicted on a second-degree murder charge.
A grand jury indicted Ronald Pilgrim, 28, in the stabbing death of Cheryl Jackson. Police say Pilgrim stabbed Jackson, 23, in her North Clinton Avenue apartment on April 6.
During his arraignment in Rochester City Court two days later, Pilgrim told the judge, "I did it."
Family members tell News10NBC Pilgrim and Jackson knew each other. There is no word on the motive or the circumstances prior to the stabbing.
