Rochester police sergeant to run 50 hours for Special Olympics

A member of the Rochester Police Department plans to run for 50-hours this weekend to help raise awareness and money for the Special Olympics on its 50th anniversary.

Sergeant Brett Sobieraski will start in Buffalo at 9 a.m. Friday. He will run along the Erie Canal path, going through Rochester on Saturday. He hopes to make it all the way to Syracuse by 11 a.m. on Sunday.
