Rochester woman charged in wrong-way crash

Deputies have charged a wrong way driver following a crash back in November.

Deputies say 26-year-old Marissa Pecora was traveling the wrong way on Route 490 east on Nov. 1 when she struck a tractor trailer head on. The preliminary investigation indicated that Pecora may have been under the influence of drugs and or alcohol, according to deputies. Both Pecora and the driver of the tractor trailer were taken to the hospital and later discharged.

On Dec. 11 deputies charged Pecora with three counts of DWI, reckless driving, assault, no interlock, unlawful entering of expressway, violation of conditional license, wrong way on a one way, disobey traffic control device, failure to keep right, and open container. She was issued a ticket to appear in Perinton Town Court on Jan 9.
