Sonar equipment used by the divers found the vehicle.

Late this afternoon an image was picked up near the Pelicans Nest restaurant.

Divers have not confirmed if it is the car that belongs to the couple.

They were hoping to use what daylight they had left this evening to do that and then Thursday they will pull the car out of the water.

Chief Deputy Michael Fowler says its a very dangerous operation. It would be too risky to continue in the dark. Fowler says the water is very muddy and there is a lot of ice. He says without the sonar the car would not have been found.

Bobby Ross, the son of the missing Robert and Mary Ross was told by police that they believe it is their vehicle being recovered.

The couple have not been seen since January 30.
