SENECA FALLS, N.Y. (WHEC) — A Seneca Falls man was arrested last Wednesday for an attack that sent a person to the hospital with "multiple life-threatening" injuries.

The Seneca Falls Police Department says that 52-year-old Joseph A. Davis of Seneca Falls pushed the victim onto the ground on Tuesday before using his foot to kick that person in the chest multiple times, causing the life-threatening injuries. The police also say that David intentionally damaged the property of another person.

The victim who was kicked had to be transported to Strong Memorial Hospital by helicopter for treatment. They have since been released.

Davis is facing charges of second-degree assault, as well as fourth-degree criminal mischief. He was taken to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await arraignment, which will be in the Town of Seneca Falls Court on a later date.
