The 2018 march and rally is called “per-Sisters for Women’s Equality,” and speakers will focus on: ending systemic racism & sexism; environmental justice; equal pay; eradicating violence against women; gender parity in elected office; LGBTQIA, immigrant, and disability rights; passage of the proposed ERA; and, reproductive rights/self-sovereignty.

According to police, the marchers will leave the park on Fall Street at 11:10 a.m., then turn north onto State Street, east onto South Park Street, south onto Cayuga Street, and finally turn west back down Fall Street and down Water Street. It will wrap-up at the Seneca Falls Community Center. In all, the ceremony itself is expected to go from 10 a.m. to about 2 p.m.

Police say if you are hitting the road at that time, you may experience some delays and possibly detours.
