A Monroe County Sheriff's deputy suffered injuries in a two-car crash in Rochester on Thursday night.
Just before 5 p.m., investigators say that the deputy's cruiser and another car collided at the intersection of West Main and Broad Streets.
The cruiser was headed south on Broad St., while a sedan headed west on West Main St. in the moments before the crash.
Paramedics rushed the deputy to Strong Hospital for neck pain and a shoulder injury. The driver of the sedan suffered a minor knee injury, and declined medical treatment.
At this point, there's no word on any tickets or charges issued in the crash.
The Monroe County Sheriff's Office told News10NBC that the incident remains part of an active investigation.
