Shipping delays may make Halloween costumes difficult to get ahold of

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Those shopping for a last-minute Halloween costume may run into some issues.

Like with other products, shipping delays are making some costumes difficult to get ahold of this year.

Arlene’s Costumes in Rochester has been busy between in-person and online sales, but Marketing and Customer Service Manager Terry Sinopoli said some things are hard to come by.

"Licensed products… things like Star Wars, […] Harry Potter, items have been a little challenging also, they sold out pretty quickly," Sinopoli said. "Pretty much licenses across the board, anything you’re gonna see in movies or TV shows – oh, Scream."

Arlene’s is still encouraging you to come in and shop, even if you can’t find the costume you’re looking for right away, you might find something else you like.
