'Smells like trouble': Crossing the border after smoking in Canada

It may be legal to smoke pot in Canada, but beware if you plan to cross into the U.S. after using.

Federally, the drug is still illegal here in the states and you will be in hot water if you try to bring the drug back home or if you are under the influence.

In fact, if you even smell like marijuana smoke, and you are detected by substance-sniffing dogs at U.S. Customs and Border Protection, it could mean a lot of trouble for you.
