WILLIAMSON, N.Y. (WHEC) — A 67-year-old man has died following a crash involving a car and farm tractor in Wayne County.

State police say a 19-year-old driver from Williamson came upon a farm tractor on Town Line Road in Williamson just after 9:30 p.m. Friday. Troopers say the woman was unable to avoid hitting the tractor.

The operator of the tractor, James Fisher, of Sodus, was ejected from the tractor. He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital where he died early Saturday morning.

The driver and the front-seat passenger in the car were uninjured. The backseat passenger, a 19-year-old woman, was taken to the hospital for minor injuries.

No word yet on if any charges will be filed.

The investigation into the crash is continuing.
