The teenager who was hit by a pickup truck in Sodus Monday has been released from the hospital.

Hospital officials tell News10NBC that 15-year-old Marcell Grady has been discharged after she was hit while crossing the road at Alling Drive and State Street on Monday evening.

Deputies say the driver spoke to Grady but left her laying on the ground. The teenager walked a Chinese restaurant in the village, prompting the owner to call 911.

Grady suffered multiple injuries from the crash and was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital to be treated.

Deputies are still searching for the driver of the pickup truck. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
