Four different companies want to install solar panels in town, with one covering as much as 90 acres of land.

Wednesday night Borrego Solar answered questions from the community.

Some neighbors tell News10NBC that the solar panels could create an eyesore being close to the road and on farmable land.

"I fully support solar power. I just don't think it's appropriate to be putting it up in peoples' backyards," stated Sandro Belpanno, Ogden homeowner. "If you're going to vote for something like this, these are your constituents, these are your neighbors, these are your family... they don't want to live next to this."

"So we cannot position solar facilities anywhere we would like," stated Emilie Flanagan, Borrego Solar. "Obviously, ideally it would be better to position solar facilities in better areas, but the reality is that also, to make all of these developments work, you have to have a lot of stars align."

Some are concerned about health risks while supporters like that it could bring clean and cheaper energy to town.
