Starbucks is planning to install needle-disposal boxes in restrooms at some locations.
The announcement comes after more than 3,000 people signed a petition. It called on the company to provide a safe way to dispose of drug needles.
The petition was started after employees reported finding uncapped needles and discarded syringes in bathrooms.
Back in May, Starbucks announced a new policy allowing anyone to sit in their stores or use their bathrooms even if they don't make a purchase.
The company is also testing other solutions like using heavier duty trash bags and removing trash cans in certain stores.
