State Police: Rochester man used forged gambling chips at del Lago

CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. (WHEC) — A 62-year-old Rochester man has been arrested after New York State Police say he used forged gambling chips at del Lago Resort & Casino. 

Troopers say that Ronnie Lewis was arrested after a "lengthy investigation" that found that Lewis had altered gambling chips in a way that allowed him to cash them in for $600.

Lewis was arrested after release from the Monroe County Jail for separate charges and charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument and use of unlawful gaming property. Both are felonies.

He was processed at the State Police's Waterloo barracks and is now being held in the Seneca County Jail awaiting arraignment.
