HAMBURG, N.Y. (WHEC) — Erie County Comptroller Stefan Mychajliw announced Tuesday that he’s running for Congress.
Mychajliw is running for New York’s 27th Congressional District seat, which has been vacant since former congressman Chris Collins resigned in September.
The special election to fill the seat will be held on April 28.
Prior to serving as Erie County’s comptroller, Mychajliw was an investigative journalist.
