Storm knocks out power for thousands

Thousands of people were without power Friday morning in Livingston County. Some people in Mount Morris are still waiting for their power to come back on.

The county is one of the harder hit areas when it comes to power outages due to the heavy snow breaking tree limbs, and branches weighing down cable lines.

The good news is power is being quickly restored as more than one thousand people are out working, pulling in outside resources.

When News10NBC's Stephanie Robusto first started out on the road to head to Livingston County Friday morning, there were over 2,700 customers without electricity in the county. As of noon, there were just under 400  

RG&E plans to continue monitoring the weather and will have crews out throughout the evening.
