SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WHEC) — A university many students from here go to has announced how many COVID-19 cases it would take before it stops in-person instruction.

Syracuse University announced that the magic number is 200. It was announced in a campus-wide email from the student association at ‘Cuse on Tuesday.

SU is also offering at-home testing kits for students who do not have access to a testing site or need a testing alternative.

University officials are also requiring all students provide proof of a negative test before returning to class.
