ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Syracuse University has suspended a fraternity for violating public health orders just days before students return to campus.

University officials say the Zeta Beta Tau fraternity violated the university’s Code of Student Conduct and executive orders issued by the governor's office and the Onondaga County executive.

The fraternity is suspended and no longer allowed to operate on the campus.

The university did not release details about what led to this decision.
