Tenants kicked off Cadillac Hotel property

The people who were sleeping outside the Cadillac Hotel in downtown Rochester have been kicked off the property.

Rochester Police say they removed cots, bedding, and trash that was blocking the doors to the building around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Three people were taken into custody and issued tickets.

The Cadillac Hotel on Chestnut Street closed down for renovations on June 8.

It's a place many low-income families called home. News10NBC spoke with tenants who say there's no place for them to go.
