Tenants upset with living conditions in the Rochester area will host a town hall meeting Thursday, calling on Governor Andrew Cuomo to do something about the housing crisis.
Members of the Housing Justice Alliance of Rochester claim rent continues to rise and tenants cannot pay it on current wages, leading to homelessness. They also say tenants don't have enough legal protection.
Thursday night's meeting is at 6:30 p.m. at Saint Mary's Church in downtown Rochester.
