Tony Stewart returns to race in upstate New York

DUNDEE, N.Y. (AP) - Three-time NASCAR champion Tony Stewart is returning to upstate New York to race for the first time in nearly four years.
    
Stewart and his All Star Circuit of Champions are scheduled to compete at three tracks, starting at Outlaw Speedway in Dundee near Watkins Glen on Friday night. They'll also visit Stateline Speedway near Jamestown in southwestern New York on Saturday and conclude the three-race visit on Sunday evening at Weedsport Speedway in central New York.
    
Stewart, who owns the Indiana-based winged sprint car series, hasn't raced in New York since his sprint car struck and killed Kevin Ward Jr. in a tragic accident at Canandaigua Motorsports Park.in August 2014.
