A trial date has been set for former Henrietta Town Supervisor Jack Moore.

Moore appeared in Brighton Town Court on Monday on a harassment charge. The case involves retired Henrietta town employee Scott Mangino and his wife Jill.

The couple claims Moore has driven by their home and repeatedly laid on his horn eight times.

The District Attorney has not offered a plea deal, so the case is headed to trial.

Moore's lawyer says if his client wasn't who he is, the DA wouldn't be handling it this way.

"If ex-supervisor Moore was an average citizen, this case would have been disposed months ago and we wouldn't be standing here today," said Vincent Merante, "But I look forward to cross-examining Mrs. Mangino and I'll see you all in March."

Merante went on to say that if Moore is convicted, he could spend up to 10 days in jail. Moore's trial date is set for March 21 at 4 p.m.
