Two men were arrested in connection with a burglary spree in Monroe County.

Deputies arrested 35-year-old Dean Klejment, of Rochester, and 35-year-old Joseph Mullen, of Irondequoit, on May 11 after an investigation into burglaries and vehicle larcenies in Monroe County.

Klejment admitted to investigators he was responsible for multiple residential burglaries and vehicles larcenies within Irondequoit, Perinton, Pittsford, and Rochester. Investigators say he was bringing the stolen property to Mullen's home.

Deputies recovered approximately $30,000 worth of stolen power tools and equipment in Mullen's home.

Klejment was arraigned on second-degree burglary and petit larceny charges. As a predicate felon, he was remanded to Monroe County Jail without bail.

Mullen was remanded to Monroe County Jail on a parole violation and charged with criminal possession of stolen property.

The investigation is ongoing and more charges are expected to be filed.
