URMC shares advice amid formula shortage

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Supply chain issues and labor shortages have left some parents scrambling to find baby formula.

Across the country, parents have been reporting formula shortages in their local stores.

The University of Rochester Medical Center tweeted Friday, alerting parents what they need to do to keep their babies healthy and fed.

If you need to switch formulas, remember all infant formula on store shelves is safe for babies, meets strict FDA regulations, and contains the nutrients that babies need to grow.

Online subscriptions could be another option.

Once you find the formula, don’t hoard it, buy a reasonable amount, and be respectful of others who are in the same boat.
