USPS to suspend most deliveries, close offices for National Day of Mourning

(WHEC) - The country will observe a National Day of Mourning Wednesday in remembrance of former President George H.W. Bush. 

All post offices will be closed. The U.S. Postal Service says there will be no residential or business deliveries and collection of mail from collection boxes will be limited.

Post offices will only deliver priority express mail and some packages to avoid setbacks during the busy holiday season, post office officials say.

Regular post office hours will resume Thursday.
