PASCO COUNTY, FL (NBC)—  A sheriff's deputy in Pasco County, Florida rescued two dogs from a house fire over the weekend.

Deputies originally responded to the fire in the Moon Lake area on Saturday night. Body camera video shows one deputy exiting his vehicle and asking if everyone had gotten out of the burning home.

As the deputy approached the fire to confirm all were safe, he noticed two dogs still on the property. The deputy then rushed to gather up the animals and bring them to safety.

The dogs, who were not injured, were returned to their owners.
