ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) —With just days until News10NBC and MVP Healthcare team up for the Health and Wellness Expo, we're previewing one local group that will be there: the Warrior Factory.
The Warrior Factory, in Henrietta, has different areas and obstacle courses that customers of all ages and body types can use. The goal is to give people a new and different way to have fun and push themselves to higher limits.
The obstacles there are similar to those seen NBC's "American Ninja Warrior".
"We'll have a probably 20 by 30 rig set up where people can try our obstacles and play around, but more importantly [it's] just an opportunity to connect with the community," said Warrior Factory GM Luke Sworts. "Tell them about the things we do here as far as kids classes, adult classes, then kind-of corporate stuff, school programs promoting not only physical wellness but the mental health aspect of the ninja culture, that kind of thing."
People at the Health and Wellness Expo will be able to take the Warrior Factory on a trial run.
