WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. (WHEC) -- It looks like Woodstock 50 is going to have to find a new venue.
According to the Poughkeepsie Journal, Watkins Glen International just announced it has terminated the license for the anniversary music festival, and will not host the event.
The event was scheduled to take place from Aug. 16 through Aug. 18.
Woodstock 50 has been in turmoil since a big investor pulled out in April.
Amplifi Live put up $49 million before clashing with organizers over attendance, budget, and other issues. Then, Amplifi finally announced on April 29 it was canceling the festival and took back about $18 million.
However, organizers retorted the show was still on and sued Amplifi.
There is no word yet from festival organizers after this latest update on what they plan to do.
