Wayne County schools get money for mental health services

NEWARK, N.Y. (WHEC) — School districts in Wayne County will receive $2.5 million to address a shortage of mental health professionals.

The Department of Education will fund on-site mental health services at Sodus Central, Lyons, Newark, North Rose Wolcott, and Clyde Savannah for the next five years.


Districts will also be partnering with the College and Brockport and the Wayne County Department of Mental Health.
