Web Extra: Drive-by homicide

March 14, 2018 12:48 PM

Three innocent people were shot at a graduation party in the front yard of a home on York Street in Rochester in May of 2013. One young woman was killed. The two others survived.

Plenty of people saw it happen, however, nearly five years later -- no arrests have been made.

“This case is particularly disturbing because these people were there to celebrate a graduation,” said Rochester Police Investigator Mike Houlihan. “They were doing nothing wrong. There's kids in the yard. It was what should have been a joyous occasion for everyone involved, and it turned out to be a tragedy.”

Who killed Kierra Jones? She was a 20-year-old who was set to graduate in a matter of weeks.

Police need your help to solve this cold case.

News10NBC's Nikki Rudd has uncovered never before seen evidence from the crime scene including video of the SUV as it left the drive-by shooting.

Stay tuned for the story coming up on Thursday, March 15 only on News10NBC.
