WEBSTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Police are investigating a homicide after the man shot in Webster earlier this week died.

Police responded to Hollywood Boulevard around 1:40 a.m. Wednesday. They found 29-year-old Timothy Manley Jr. on the ground bleeding.

He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital where he later died.

"We are confident at this time that this is an isolated incident and there is no ongoing threat to the community," Webster Police Chief Joe Rieger said at a very brief news conference Wednesday.

Rieger didn't elaborate on a possible motive, if they had questioned anyone, or if anyone was in custody.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or Crime Stoppers at (585) 423-9300.
