The Livingston County Sheriff's Office says Korts contacted the girl using the Whisper app and met up with her on August 16. The Whisper app allows users to post pictures and chat with other users in their area.

According to deputies, the teen met with Korts went with him in his vehicle. Investigators say there was no sexual contact between the two, but Korts asked the girl to perform sex acts.

When the girl return home, her parents found out about the meeting and called deputies. At that point, deputies intervened and started contacting Korts using the girl's phone. As sheriff's investigators communicated with Korts, the conversation became sexual, deputies say. When he returned for a second meeting in the Town of York, deputies arrested him.

Sheriff Tom Dougherty tells us, "He was cooperative. It was a traffic stop. Based on what they told me, he immediately knew the gig was up. Kind of had his head low and cooperated with investigators and spoke to him about the past week of engagement."

Korts was arraigned and sent to Livingston County Jail.
