Portrait photographer Linda Dow Hayes gave us a look at her latest project in Webster, titled "We All Have a Story."

Hayes is also a teaching assistant at the Webster Central School District, and her colleagues were actually the subjects of this exhibit.

She said that it's been an emotional journey for everyone involved because of the sensitive subjects it covers. Family love, work-life balance, depression, sexual and spousal abuse and cancer were some of the stories her colleagues told.

"We all have stories to tell," Hayes said. "That it is a great thing to get to know the people you work with, that are a little bit deeper than you every day working relationship, because that in turn makes you a better person."

Hayes said combining her two worlds also made her a better educator.

Her public exhibit at the Webster Public Library is up through May 31.
