ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) -- Wegmans is expanding its curbside grocery service to all Rochester-area stores.
Wegmans introduced curbside grocery pickup last March at its Pittsford store, and in September, at the Chili-Paul Wegmans. The expansion of the service to all remaining Rochester stores started last week and will be completed by Feb. 28.
Shoppers can visit instacart.wegmans.com or log on to the Instacart app to shop, select a pickup time, and pay for their order. Customers will receive an order confirmation with instructions and a phone number to call when they are within 10 minutes of the store. Upon arrival, customers simply pull into the designated curbside pickup lane and a Wegmans employee will load their groceries into the car.
Curbside pickup is now available at Brockport, Irondequoit, Ridge-Culver, Latta Road, Lyell Ave, Mt. Read, Ridgemont, East Ave, Eastway, Fairport, Holt Road, Penfield, and Perinton.
The service will be available on Feb. 28 at Calkins Road, Canandaigua, Geneseo, Geneva, Marketplace, and Newark.
People who use this service must buy at least $10 in groceries.
