Bekka Fifield

Bekka Fifield is a New York native from Black River, N.Y. She graduated from the State University of New York at Brockport in December 2022 and joined WHEC in February 2023.

Before joining WHEC, she worked with SUNY Brockport’s newspaper ‘The Stylus’ as features editor for a year. She also studied abroad in Dublin, Ireland in the summer of 2022 doing a journalism internship with a popular online magazine called “Goss.” During her final semester, she interned at WHEC as a multimedia journalist — learning the ropes of what would soon be her full-time job.

Her passion is storytelling – with hopes of digging into the cold cases of Rochester.

When she’s not working, you can find her playing with her dog, Watson, or cat, Gus, or watching her favorite show, “Scandal.” She loves volleyball and all things Taylor Swift.
