Briana Collier

Briana Collier is an Emmy-nominated journalist from the windy city of Chicago, Ill.

A Georgia transplant, Briana spent three years in the Peach State as a weekend anchor and reporter at WTOC in Savannah, Ga. and as a morning anchor in Augusta, Ga.

She got her start in the business shortly after graduating college. She spent two years as a multimedia journalist and reporter for WHBF in the Quad Cities.

As a graduate of Southern Illinois University-Carbondale (go Salukis!), she earned her Bachelor of Arts in radio-television and digital media with a minor in speech communications.

She also worked in radio in Chicago for iHeartMedia, Inc. where she was a promotions assistant, working for some of the top hip-hop and R&B stations in the city.

Briana made the 15-hour trek to Rochester in November 2022 and is now the weekend morning anchor and reporter for News10NBC.

You can catch Briana on Rochester’s only weekend newscast on News10NBC Today Saturday and Sunday mornings starting at 6 a.m.

In her free time, Briana loves music, cooking, playing and coaching girls basketball, and cuddling with her Cavapoo puppy, Bentley.
