Lynette Adams
Lynette Adams is a veteran anchor with News10NBC. You can see her on New10NBC Today from 4:30 a.m. to 7 a.m. and on News10NBC at Noon.
Lynette has lived in Rochester longer than anywhere and now calls the “Flour City” home. She is passionate about being a journalist and making a difference in the city where she lives.
Lynette is a native of Syracuse. After graduating from Oakwood University, she landed her first job as a news writer for morning drive radio at WHEN Radio in Syracuse. She moved over to the Syracuse Newspapers, where she worked as a staff writer. Her dream, however, was to work in television news. So, after 2 1/2 years, she landed a job at the NBC affiliate in Springfield, Mass., WWLP TV-22.
She said goodbye to Western Massachusetts after 3 1/2 years when she joined News10NBC in Rochester and has been a fixture at WHEC-TV for the past 30 years.
Lynette is a wife and mother of two adult children. She enjoys hanging out with friends and family and loves fashion. She also enjoys teaching women how to create healthy glowing skin, working out, and decorating.
