Ontario County hosting additional booster dose drive-through clinic

The following are eligible for an additional booster dose:

• Those 50 years old and older who received their initial Moderna or Pfizer doses and first booster.
• Those 18 to 49 years old who received their initial Johnson & Johnson dose and booster dose.
• Anyone 18 and older with a moderate or severe immunocompromised condition, including:
  • Actively undergoing treatment for solid tumor and hematologic malignancies.
  • Solid-organ transplant recipients who are taking immunosuppressive therapy.
  • CAR-T-cell or hematopoietic stem cell transplant recipients who are within 2 years of transplantation or taking immunosuppression therapy.
  • Those with moderate or severe primary immunodeficiency, such as DiGeorge syndrome or Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome.
  • Those with advanced or untreated HIV infection.
  • Those who are actively being treated with high-dose corticosteroids (i.e., at least 20 mg prednisone or equivalent per day), alkylating agents, antimetabolites, transplant-related immunosuppressive drugs, cancer chemotherapeutic agents classified as severely immunosuppressive, tumor-necrosis (TNF) blockers, and other biologic agents that are immunosuppressive or immunomodulatory.

The clinic will be held in a drive-through format and the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines will be offered. Recipients must bring proof of vaccination so that they can prove their eligibility.
