CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. (WHEC) — Hundreds of shivering swimmers plunged into the freezing waters of Canandaigua Lake on Saturday morning.

The event, the 2021 Canandaigua Polar Plunge, was to raise funds and awareness for local Special Olympic athletes and programming.
