MURRAY, N.Y. (WHEC) — A standoff at an Orleans County trailer park ended Tuesday with a man and his girlfriend turned over to Strong Memorial Hospital for evaluation.

It started at around 1:15 p.m. when a man called 911 from a trailer on Newport Drive in the County Line Mobile Home Park in the Town of Murray, saying he hit his girlfriend in the head and that she was unconscious and bleeding.

The woman and three teenagers eventually came out of the trailer. The woman had injuries and was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital.

Deputies and officers continued negotiating with the man for three hours before they heard sounds of distress over the throw phone they put inside the trailer.

They went inside and say they found the man vomiting and nearly unconscious. Deputies say they gave him two doses of NARCAN before Monroe Ambulance and Murray Fire/EMS crews got him to Strong Memorial Hospital, where both adults are under evaluation/
