Police: Albion man stabs 17-year-old, injures woman trying to protect teenager

ALBION, N.Y. (WHEC) — An Albion man is facing charges after police say he stabbed a 17-year-old and injured a woman who tried to protect the teenager.

It happened Wednesday at the Oak Orchard Estates Mobile Home Park in the Village of Albion.

Police say Isaiah Alexander stabbed a 17-year-old boy during a dispute, and a 20-year-old woman attempted to protect the teenager and her hand was injured.

Alexander was charged with one count of attempted murder, two counts of first-degree assault, and one count of endangering the welfare of a child.

Police say there may be additional charges coming.

Alexander was remanded to the Orleans County Jail on $50,000 bail, $100,000 bond, or $200,000 partially secured bond.
