School/Business Administrators - Get your closing on News10NBC

You can help alert families and employees about closings or delays on-air and online at WHEC.com. This is a public service we provide so schools and businesses can get the word out on closings or delays.

NOTE: If you are a school or hospital official and have forgotten your user ID and/or password, or need to set up an account, please call News10NBC at 585-232-1010. We will not provide user IDs and/or passwords to school or hospital officials via email.

School Closing Instructions

If you have already signed up with us, it is easy to use the News10NBC Closings System in the event of inclement weather or other reasons.

Should you need your ID and/or password, please call our newsroom at 585-232-1010.

NEWS10NBC | WHEC-TV WEBSITE CLOSING SYSTEM

• Go to Closings.WHEC.com
• Enter your User ID and password and sign in
• Select a date for your closing/delay
• Select a closing/delay option (closed, closing early, opening late)
• Choose a special status code if necessary (staff report, no afternoon/evening activities)
• Click submit
