ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Early voting for the June 2021 primaries kicks off on Saturday, June 12. Voters can cast their ballots ahead of the Tuesday, June 22 primary.

  • Rochester City Council 
  • Rochester Commissioner of Schools
  • Monroe County Court Judge
  • Monroe County Legislature: 21st, 22nd, 29th Districts

If you plan to vote early in person in Monroe County, here are some things to keep in mind: 

  • You may not be casting your ballot at your normal polling place. 
  • You can go to any of the 14 early voting locations in Monroe County.
  • You must be registered with a major party to vote in the primary.

What if I have issues at polling locations?

You can call the state's Election Protection Hotline at (800) 771-7755, submit complaints online, or email election.hotline@ag.ny.gov. The hotline and digital forms are accessible in multiple languages.

The hotline will be open during the early voting period from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 12, through Sunday, June 20, and between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, June 22. The office also has an online guide for frequently asked questions.
