ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) - The majority of New Yorkers are looking for stricter gun laws, according to a News10NBC and WNYT poll conducted in advance of next week's state primary.
SURVEYUSA asked 3500 New Yorkers to rank the following on a scale of 1-10, with 10 being the most important. Reducing mass shootings averaged 8.8 and protecting gun rights, a 6.2. When asked should gun laws in general become more or less strict, respondents said:
