ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Gov. Kathy Hochul is leading potential Democratic primary opponents by more than 30 points according to a poll released Tuesday.

The Siena College Poll of New York Democrats found she had the support of 46% of respondents, whereas New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio had 12%, New York City Public Advocate Jumaane Williams had 11% and Rep. Thomas Suozzi (D, NY-23) had 6%.

Twenty-four percent of respondents said they were unsure.

The poll was conducted from Jan. 9 through Jan. 13. Siena asked 806 New York State registered voters.

De Blasio Tuesday announced that he would not be running for governor, so it’s unclear how that will impact future poll numbers.
