ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Former New York governor Andrew Cuomo will not be running for New York Attorney General, according to a new report.

Cuomo spokesperson Rich Azzopardi told Politico that Cuomo’s focus is on “getting the truth out” about the sexual harassment allegations that Cuomo has mostly denied but ultimately led to his resignation and that rumors that the former governor will run for AG are “blatantly false”.

Last week, Cuomo’s attorney, Rita Glavin, announced that she and her client were filing an ethics complaint against New York Attorney General Letitia James alleging misconduct in the special investigation into the sexual harassment claims against Cuomo.

Although his sights may not be set on the state Attorney General’s Office, Cuomo’s team has told multiple news outlets the former governor is planning some sort of comeback.
