ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC)— Here’s a Good Question about COVID rules at work.

We know you’ve all been dealing with the changes at the office: wearing masks, rearranging desks, and taking daily symptom surveys. But, what if COVID fatigue is setting in, and your coworkers or your bosses aren’t doing everything they should to protect you?

A viewer asked News10NBC what can we concerned employees do, anonymously, to force them to create a safe environment?

The New York State Department of Labor has a whole section on its website dedicated to this. There’s a long list of reasons to can file a COVID-related complaint. You’ll also find info detailing specific rules for each industry, whether that’s an office, restaurant, or someplace else.

Another very important thing: Your employer can’t threaten or retaliate you for reporting any problems you’re worried about.
