News10NBC’s Brennan Somers keeps getting some form of this question: Will this year’s STAR checks be mailed out on time?
The answer is yes, just be on the lookout and check the mail. Yours could arrive any day now.
State officials with the New York Department of Tax and Finance told Somers this week STAR Credit checks are currently being mailed and are not experiencing any delays.
At least 313,000 checks have been sent to eligible property owners in NY so far.
