ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Two people were arrested in connection to Saturday’s unrest that followed a peaceful protest in downtown Rochester.
After most of the protesters left Saturday, City of Rochester property was damaged and businesses in Rochester and some of the suburbs were looted.
The Rochester Police Department is now in the process of identifying and arresting suspects.
Nicholas Pabone, 28, of Rochester, was charged with riot and criminal mischief for allegedly damaging a Rochester Police vehicle. Pabone was issued an appearance ticket to answer to the charges in Rochester City Court on July 9.
Dysheika McFadden, 26, of Gates, was charged with riot, criminal mischief and arson for allegedly damaging a Rochester police vehicle. McFadden was taken to Monroe County Jail, and is scheduled to be arraigned in Rochester City Court on June 4.
